BMVSS, a pan-Indian organisation, is the leading global provider of the Jaipur Foot. Devendra Raj Mehta founded the organization on grounds of providing a humane and patient-first social philosophy and value system.

The Jaipur Foot is a durable, high-impact, rubber-based prosthetic leg that provides resistance and high tensile strength for people with below-knee amputations. Apart from Jaipur Foot, crutches, hearing aids, and assistive kits were provided to around 2000 Divyang persons in the distribution camp held in Nagpur City.
‘Divyang’ refers to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's attempts to celebrate the notion that handicapped persons are provided with special abilities to overcome any barrier. As part of his ‘Make in India’ program, free fitment and rehabilitation aides were supplied to thousands of Divyang beneficiaries.
The mega camp at Yashvant Stadium was organized from October 14 to 25. Divyang from Katol, Narkhed and Kalmeshwar were fitted with the Jaipur Foot on October 23 and 24. For Nagpur city’s Divyang, the camp was held from October 14 to 16.
Guests of honor include: Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, BMVSS founder D R Mehta, Prem Bhandari, Raj Purohit, MP Ajay Sancheti, legislators Sudhakar Deshmukh, Krishna Khopde, Anil Sole, Vikas Kumbhare, Mallikarjun Reddy, Dr Milind Mane, Sudhir Parve, Social Welfare Department Secretary Dr Surendrakumar Bagde, Divisional Commissioner Anoop Kumar, District Collector Sachin Kurve, CEO Kadambari Balkawde, and Municipal Commissioner Shrawan Hardikar.
BMVSS organizes outreach programs and rehabilitation camps to reach out to Divyang persons across India and the world. At the outset, BMVSS has since rehabilitated millions of amputees and polio patients in India and around the world by fitting Jaipur Foot variety, calipers, and other aids and appliances.
